The human body is amazing! It has a remarkable way of regulating and healing itself. And when it comes to eliminating toxins from the body, it doesn’t require a special diet to do so. What detox juices and smoothies do, is enhance the body’s natural detoxification system.
The six organs that work to detox the body are: the liver, kidneys, skin, colon, lungs, and lymphatic system.
Day 1: Liver Detox
Peel and cut 2 medium sized beets, 1 apple: granny smith, red delicious, or a gala,
3 small carrots, and 1 small piece of ginger. Add all the ingredients to a blender, then pour in the juice from 1 lemon and 1 cup of cold water. Blend. One cup of beets..... This detox juice is perfect for supporting the liver.
Day 2: Kidney Detox
Pomegranate, cherry and cranberry juices are great for flushing toxins out of the
kidneys. For a delicious and easy detox juice, combine 2 cups of pomegranate juice,
plus 2 cups of frozen strawberries. Add 1 red apple and 1 cup of cold
water.

Day 3: Skin Detox
For glowing, healthy skin this detox juice is the best. In a blender combine, 2 cups of
spinach, 1 cup of all natural coconut water, 1 cup of frozen pineapple, frozen papaya,
1 large, peeled orange, 2 small kiwi, 1 small piece of ginger.
Day 4: Colon Detox
This juice supports colon health. In a blender add 1⁄2 cup of 100 percent apple juice, add 2
tablespoons fresh lemon juice, 1 medium sized piece of piece of ginger, 1⁄2 teaspoon of sea salt, 1⁄2 cup
warm purified water. Blend.

Day 5: Lung Detox
This is actually a tea and not a smoothie. In a large pot, add 4 cinnamon sticks, plus
1 large piece of ginger. Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. While boiling, add 1
tablespoon of turmeric and raw honey to a cup. Once the tea has boiled, add the cinnamon
and ginger infused water to the cup and mix.
Day 6: Lymph Detox
Incorporating citrus in your diet will help protect your lymphatic system as
well as many other bodily systems like your liver. Seaweed aids in
detoxification and will rid your body of any excess fluid that slows down your lymphatic
system. To make citrus seaweed tea, soak your seaweed overnight. Boil, then
blend until the seaweed is smooth. In a cup add the juice of 1 lemon, and 1
large grapefruit, plus 1 cup of hot water. Dissolve 1 tablespoon of seaweed gel
into the cup.
